MANILVA | The Manilva Council has held a meeting to confirm the tenders for the management of the Ciudad Deportiva de Sabinillas, Sports Centre, outsourcing this service that to date was provided by the Town Hall.
The Mayor, Mario Jiménez, the CouncilLor for Sports, Manolo Gil and Councillor Diego José Jiménez, and the auditor and the Secretary of the Corporation have accepted the report of the technical staff, and proceeded to open the envelope with the company's proposal.
Therefore the government will appoint the Estepona-based company Edufy Formación to manage the Sports Complex, a proposal that must be ratified at the next full meeting of the Manilva Town Council.
The local government intends with this award "to offer the public a better service and get the most out of the Sabinillas sports complex".
The Manilva Council has stated that "we do not have the human or material resources to deal with the management of a sports centre of this size, being also a deficit service".
Edufy Formación located in Estepona and a collaborator with the Town Council also offers, in addition to the management, possibilities for Official Undergraduate Sports Studies, being a company approved by the Junta de Andalucía, a collaborator with the University of Sports UCAM, with course for TSEAS, TSAF, TECO, Football and Aquatic Lifeguard among other options.
