MANILVA | The Mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, has signed the decrees of the so-called "Malaga Plan" and has informed the Provincial Council which projects will be carried oout in the municipality.
Among the investment in this plan, one of the main projects is the redevelopment of Avenida Miraflores in Sabinillas with a budget of € 324,882.50, a project that is highly anticipated by local residents, and which has been announced on many occasions without the works being carried out.
The Councillor for Infrastructure and Works, Diego José Jiménez, assures that "with this type of aid the local economy will be reactivated while solving long term problems in terms of infrastructure, such as Avenida Miraflores".
The Alta and Baja squares will also be remodeled, as well as the Plaza Coral, located between the Delfín and Chanquete buildings in Puerto de la Duquesa, for which a sum of € 108,483.69 will be available.
In addition to these works, within another of the Malaga Plan programmes, the creation of the Pedestrian Passage that will connect Calles Pedreta and Jimena Town Council will contribute € 31,500 upon completion.
Following the presentation of this extraordinary investment plan, Mario Jiménez, Mayor of Manilva, expressed his satisfaction "because our town is benefiting from this type of aid that undoubtedly comes at a time of vital importance.
