MANILVA | The track & trace team would support the Costa del Sol Health District in its task of monitoring people who have had contact with someone tested positive for COVID-19.
Manilva Council are collaborating with Carlos Bautista, Health Delegate of the Junta de Andalucía in Malaga, to request the necessary training, permits and the protocols to follow so that this team will have the necessary knowledge and tools to carry out this important work.
The function of these tracers will be to identify those with the closest contact with the virus carriers, who will be given an appointment to carry out a PCR test.
The Council is working closely with the authorities with a view to launch this new service to combat Covid 19 as soon as possible, and Mario Jiménez, Mayor of the municipality has assured that "all the resources that we put in place for this fight against the virus will be effective and necessary and that the Town Hall is at the entire disposal of the health authorities for whatever they need."
