Manilva | This morning, the AndaluCian Government's provincial delegate for tourism, Nuria Rodríguez Cubero, attended the awarding, on the Sabinillas promenade, of the "Andalucía Segura" quality mark, awarded to the municipality, for complying with all the Covid-19 beach safety measures.
The delegate was officially welcomed by the Mayor, Mario Jiménez, along with councillors, Diego José Jiménez, Laura López, Eva Galindo, Marcos Ruiz and Francisco Miguel Álvarez.
The local officials thanked the delegate for, "the visit and the special sympathy that the delegate has with the municipality" and also wanted to emphasize "the importance of having obtained this distinction that the Junta de Andalucía grants to those whose, beaches are in perfect condition to receive the thousands of people who will surely visit us throughout the months of July and August, with all the security measures guaranteed."
In reply, Nuria Rodríguez commented in her speech that "Manilva has earned this distinction thanks to a job well done" and recalled that "Malaga and its province will be the preferred destination for the Spanish this summer".
"Manilva," said Nuria Rodríguez "is a perfect example, since it meets all the conditions to ensure tourists can be safe, on its wide, quiet, accessible beaches and surrounded by such great professionals in both catering and other services."
The honour received today will allow Manilva to be able to promote, and broadcast to the world that they can come to a safe, desirable, unique, reliable and quality place.
We came across the Provincial Tourism Delegate during her tour of Manilva accompanied by the Mayor Mario Jiménez, who both posed with a copy of the La Voz del Resident, who she thanked for "the work that the local media carry out to promote the municipality and the Costa del Sol".
